Has over 15 years of experience in development institutions and the financial sector. Before joining the Fund, he worked as Managing Director for captive funds at Qazaqstan Investment Corporation. Previously, he held the positions of Director of the Project Finance and PPP Department at Baiterek Holding, Deputy Director of the Industry Analysis Department at the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Head of the Macroeconomic Analysis Department at the Institute of Economic Research. He is a graduate of the State University - Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia), where he received a Master's degree in Economics in public finance under the Bolashak Program, as well as the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, specializing in finance and credit.
